Michael Pedicelli Named Area President Sanford

Michael Pedicelli Named Area President of BankFIRST's Sanford Area Office

Sanford, Florida – (August 24, 2005) – William L. Colbert, Chairman of the BankFIRST Sanford Board of Directors, announced today that Michael Pedicelli has joined the BankFIRST Sanford area office in the role of Area President.  “We are very excited to welcome Michael to BankFIRST, and know that he promises to be an excellent fit as Sanford's Area President,” Colbert said. 

“We are very pleased to introduce Michael to our BankFIRST clients in Sanford and southern Seminole County.  His commitment to fostering thriving financial relationships with small businesses and individuals makes him a terrific addition to our team,” said Donald J. McGowan, BankFIRST President and Chief Executive Officer. 

Pedicelli has been employed in the banking and financial services industry since 1998, and has extensive experience in the commercial lending arena.  Formerly serving as an Assistant Vice President - Portfolio Manager at RG Crown Bank, and as Loan Officer at Century National Bank,  his previous responsibilities have included supervision of the portfolio management team for the bank's commercial lending department.  His expertise also combines the skills associated with the origination and underwriting of small business and commercial real estate loans as well as marketing the bank's loan and deposit services. 

After earning his B.A. in History from the University of Central Florida in 1996,  Pedicelli served in the U. S. Army.  He then continued to pursue an expanded collegiate education, by receiving an M.A. in International Business in 1999, and an M.B.A. in 2000, both obtained from Webster University in Orlando, Florida.  Pedicelli currently resides in Winter Park, Florida.
